We have the ability to regenerate bone when needed. Socket preservation can repair sites with inadequate bone structure and allows more patients to become implant candidates.
All on 4™ is a relatively new technique in the United States but has been done for many years with great success in Europe. This technique uses fewer implants that are placed at mechanical inclinations to maximize implant support and reduce or eliminate the need for grafting. The angled implant placement utilize native bone which allows for increased initial stability of implants thereby allowing for immediate teeth placement. Though the procedure is titled All-on-4, the number of implants that are placed are customized to the patient's needs.
Fewer implants and less grafting mean a quicker recovery. It also means a lower cost to restore a full arch at one time as opposed to each individiual tooth over time. Reducing the need for bone grafting saves months in healing and thousands of dollars. The tooth removal, implants and the temporary fixed prosthesis (final prosthesis is fabricated after healing is complete) are performed the same day.
